Client Background: Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois has entrusted Colorwave Graphics to produce a variety of their branding projects for over a decade, from signage and displays to this second round of fleet vehicle wraps.

Objectives and Goals: Rollout a fleet of four, 26 FT. box trucks, each wrapped with a different Goodwill branding message within 5-7 business days.

Challenges: Colorwave to work closely with Goodwill’s leasing company and local creative agency by capturing exact measurements and then providing a design template for accuracy. Coordinate four sets of designs, each having a different message with the CWG production and installation teams. Maintain perfect print quality, match Goodwill’s branding colors, and produce over 2,000 square feet of graphics in less than 72 hours. Colorwave Installers to wrap one truck per day!

Graphic Solutions: CWG’s imaging department utilized their Epson SureColor S80600 to print over 2,000 square feet of graphics onto 3 rolls of 3M wrap vinyl in 12 hours. Then production applied 450 feet of 3M clear gloss lamination, trimmed and organized 64 finished panels and 12 Goodwill logos in one, 8 hour shift.

Results and Outcomes: A team of two CWG installers wrapped one box truck per day in approximately 6 hours, allowing time for swapping out a completed truck for the next until all 4 trucks were completed. The entire project, from print to instal,l was completed in 6 business days!
